Pay range is $100,000–$115,000 per year, DOE; a $75 monthly cell phone allowance; and the following benefits:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Demand Generation Manager will lead and develop a team of marketing automation experts and web/SEO specialists. This highly visible role will be responsible for maintaining our marketing automation technology solutions, overseeing the production of email programs, and managing our web and SEO team to enhance our digital programs and improve customer engagement.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, organized, results-driven, and has a passion for digital applications. This position requires expertise in executing marketing automation campaigns, preferably with experience in Marketo/HubSpot/Act-On or similar, and a strong foundation in email and SMS communications best practices. Additionally, the candidate should have some familiarity with managing website projects, SEO, and lead generation products and services. In addition to managing the marketing automation and web team, the primary responsibility of this role will be to steer the ongoing development and execution of our marketing automation and web/SEO programs to ensure we have a streamlined plan to engage prospects and current patients throughout their customer lifecycle.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

  • Collaboration and Management: Mentor, train and supervise a five-person team of marketing automation managers, web specialists, and developers to execute premier email, web, and SEO services for clients in the hearing health care space. Develop governance and best practices to ensure premier customer service and successful delivery of email marketing campaigns and website services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders from across the business to identify opportunities to increase program utilization, improve efficiency and quality, and reduce costs when possible. Partner with specialists and marketing managers in both day-to-day production work and improvement projects.
  • Strategy: Set the short and long-term vision for every stage of the customer lifecycle, developing a strategy and roadmap to deliver the vision. Define and achieve key performance indicators for marketing automation and web/SEO to drive members’ and Audigy’s success.
  • MarTech: Manage and deliver the marketing technology stack for marketing automation, email marketing, and web/SEO to help support our marketing and customer acquisition teams, including day-to-day operations and troubleshooting. Oversee the team’s overall maintenance of the automation software and website platform, including hosting, security, performance, and custom WordPress development with in-house and vendor teams.
  • Data: Be the protector of marketing data, ensuring its accuracy and adherence to company privacy and data management policies. Analyze the effectiveness of customer acquisition and retention campaigns and their impacts on end-to-end customer experience.
  • Journey Optimization: Work with data teams to analyze the effectiveness of customer acquisition and retention campaigns and the impacts they have on end-to-end customer experience. Research, build, and project manage the implementation of new automation and website features, content, technologies, and enhancements.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Experience in marketing automation and email marketing, with a focus in setting up automated campaigns in Marketo/Hubspot/Act-On or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, including best-practice content strategy and online reputation management.
  • Familiarity with WordPress sites, including WordPress managed hosting (WP Engine).
  • Experience using CRM/project/task management software (i.e., Workamajig, Salesforce).
  • Expertise translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and make fast decisions based on changing needs in a high-growth environment.
  • Strategic mindset that can see beyond the day-to-day to help the business achieve long-term customer acquisition and retention goals.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
  • People management experience with excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects and people.
  • Ability to oversee and manage the team’s use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SEO research platforms like Semrush.
  • Interest in best-practice UI/UX & lead generation web design.
  • Basic knowledge of GDPR, PECR, HIPPA, and other relevant privacy regulations, or willingness to get up to speed on regulations quickly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a People Manager role (required)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid work environment (Monday and Wednesday in-office for all staff with occasional additional days as necessary for meetings and events)
  • Full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORK DEMANDS:

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. This position will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
