Summary of Position:

IT Systems Software Analysis & Programming focuses on programming & configuration of IT Systems Software (i.e. software for use in operating/controlling hardware and providing a platform for running internal end user/business applications). The work includes: •Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System •Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts •Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization’s IT platform/infrastructure •Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.) •Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults •Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and code.

This role is responsible for development, technical support, and monitoring of R&D software development tools, systems, infrastructure, and processes. This role will help support compliance and quality assurance tasks associated with all software development operations related to applications, network access control, network, and server configurations, VMs, and Security policies.

This position is expected to liaise with key stakeholders and RDIT teams to ensure clear communications and effective and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT (Information Technology) professional delivering technical expertise in support of Software Development applications, business processes, network and server infrastructure, and/or customer facing IT services
• Analytical and technical support managing IT applications supporting software development on R&D products, and
• Analyze, execute actions, and complete tasks for all assigned IT tickets
• Work within compliance related polices and requirements
• Coordinate International IT team with local R&D IT activities
• Support license management, maintenance, packaging processes, and budget forecasting of R&D software development applications
• Support Identity, security, and access management tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software development tools and/or systems
• Participate in solution design, configuration, testing and deployment
• Develop detailed specifications for proposed solutions including scope, time, costs, and savings

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA or equivalent experience in data science, computer science/programming, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience.
• Network Troubleshooting and network security supporting IT operations and data protection (Must Have).
• Experience in identifying and troubleshooting IT desktop applications, network, and hardware support issues (Must Have)
• Working knowledge of software development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira), applications, best practices, and methodologies (Good to have)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Linux) and Applications (Windows).
•  Experience in regulated industry (Medical devices) preferred
•  Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
