Job Description

The Role

Based in London, Brookfield is seeking a candidate to support the origination, execution and management of investments for Brookfield’s middle-market infrastructure and renewable power investment strategy, Brookfield Infrastructure Structured Solutions (“BISS”). BISS is one of the newest strategies in the Brookfield Infrastructure Group and offers the candidate an opportunity to be an early team-member in a fast-growing strategy, to work in a highly entrepreneurial team, and to work on innovative transactions across the capital structure. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Performing due diligence including comprehensive valuation analysis

  • Developing and reviewing detailed financial models

  • Conducting asset, corporate and industry research

  • Preparation of presentation materials and analysis for the fund’s investment committees and third parties

  • Sourcing and screening for new investment opportunities

  • Portfolio management of both new and existing investments

  • Interacting with management teams and fund investors

  • Contribute to a dynamic, team-oriented working culture

  • Assist in fundraising workstream

  • Assessing legal risks and conducting legal documentation review

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in academic, professional and personal contexts

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking or comparable experience

  • Preferably, experience in infrastructure equity investing

  • Strong excel skills and complex modelling ability

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach

  • Self-motivated individual focused on building a business for long-term growth
