In Technology Strategy & Advisory, we help our clients shape their technological vision and execute on their digital transformations1. This role is for a high-level strategic and technical leader responsible for designing the "master blueprint" of an organization's data and AI ecosystem.

Your function is to ensure that the infrastructure, tools, data flows, and AI capabilities are perfectly aligned with business objectives. You will work advising on current and future technology topics and translating complex business requirements into scalable, efficient data and AI foundations that enable analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Domains

We are organized into three core domains where you will be expected to contribute and lead:

1. Tech-Driven Growth Strategy

You will help clients create new technology-based revenue streams and respond to major business events by questioning how technology, data, and AI can best be utilized. Your role is to translate the company's strategic objectives into a technical roadmap and a data architecture that supports them.

  • AI and Digital and Technology/IT Strategy
  • Cloud Strategy & Roadmap for data platforms
  • Design of modern data architecture patterns (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
  • Evaluation of the current data architecture ("As-Is") and design of a long-term evolution plan ("To-Be")

2. Tech Value, Debt Management, and Cost Takeout

You will advise clients on ensuring their technology and data investments are directly aligned with business outcomes.

This involves designing robust data & AI frameworks, reducing technical debt through architectural simplification, and optimizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the data & AI estate.

  • Data & AI Business Management Strategy & Design
  • Investment Prioritization for data and AI (ML, Gen-AI, Agentic AI) initiatives
  • Cloud Cost Optimization and FinOps Strategy and operationalization
  • Value Stream Mapping and Value Measurement/OKR Strategy and management operationalization

3. Data & AI Operating Model and Organizational Design and implementation

You will provide clients with a clear, consensus-driven blueprint for the enterprise capabilities required to deliver and maintain technology-enabled products and services. This includes designing and implementing the optimal organizational structure and processes to support a data & AI driven culture.

• Type of Work (Examples):
  • Enterprise Operating Model design for AI powered Technology
  • Leading workshops and interviews with stakeholders to identify and document requirements and business rules
  • Designing performance metrics (OKRs) that align data and AI work to business outcomes
  • Technical leadership and guidance for teams of engineers, modelers, and data analysts to ensure adherence to the defined architecture
  • Design and implementation of Data Governance frameworks covering data quality, metadata management, and security
  • Mastery of dimensional modeling methodologies (star, snowflake schemas) and normalized modeling (3NF)
  • Deep knowledge of the Kimball (oriented towards Business Intelligence) and Inmon (oriented towards the corporate Data Warehouse) approaches
  • Practical experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and cloud Data Warehousing systems (Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics)
  • Knowledge of extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes and the tools that support them (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Talend, dbt)
  • Design and implementation of organization’s AI frameworks (Agent Mesh, Swarm)
  • Workforce Strategy, including reskilling, productivity, and enablement for data and AI roles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field is preferred; an MBA is a plus.
• High proficiency in English (C1 level required)
• Consulting background is a significant plus
• +5 years of experience leading large-scale technology programs or digital transformations
• +5 years of experience with Agile Methodologies for Program Management
• +3 years of deep knowledge regarding transformative technologies, specifically in data and AI.
• +1 years of direct experience in Business Intelligence, AI/Gen AI adoption projects.
• Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) and its key data services
• Expert-level knowledge of at least one major analytics & visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and its key data services
• Knowledge of at least one major Data Governance tool (Collibra, Informatica, Purview)
• Proven experience in at least one of the domains mentioned above.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical, executive-level audiences
