About the Role

We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Manager who has extensive relationships and a deep subject matter expertise in the Live Entertainment, Production, and Tour market.  In this role, you will be working with customers, HARMAN Pro Dealers, and independent sales reps to drive sales growth with HARMAN’s portfolio of professional Audio products, specifically JBL and Crown.

What You Will Do

  • Create new relationships with tour sound clients.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by targeting Audio Production & Touring companies and select end-users.
  • Identify opportunities to take market share from HARMAN competitors.
  • Formulate preliminary design recommendations, equipment packages, and pricing.
  • Track opportunities via CRM and assist in formulating sales forecasts.
  • Work with other HARMAN teams to build new, and grow existing, customer relationships.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the professional audio industry tour sound market.
  • Experience working with audio production houses, audio touring companies and/or end users within the production audio space.
  • Knowledge of competitive audio brands. 
  • Strong communication, decision-making, leadership, and collaboration skills

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience with CRM, Microsoft suite, and industry-standard software.
  • Previous job history with a competitive equipment manufacturer or a tour sound sales role within a production company.
  • Deep technical knowledge of audio system theory and application.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic travel
  • Be willing to work in a Home Office, preferably in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX or Los Angeles, CA areas.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment (post-offer).

Salary Ranges:

$ 108,750 - $ 159,500
