Position Summary

BTSS PMO is looking to fill a Manager, Project Manager role to lead projects.  The Project Manager is responsible to plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Role requires the PM to manage schedule, risks and changes. Manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.  Manage large multifaceted projects; Focus on identifiable elements or functions within a larger project. Typically, incumbents matched to this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management.

A Manager, Project Management is/will:

  • Accountable for set of metrics designed to enhance the member experience.

  • Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization. Develops recommendations based on complex data and root cause analysis.

  • Provide input on business plan to achieve business goals.

  • Proactively lead assigned project by creating project timeline, identifying key milestones and additional resources needed to successfully complete the work.

  • Assist with the management of internal relationships, processes, and performance drives (in some cases relationships may be external). 

  • Build communication plan for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (upstream/downstream) are informed of next steps for completion. 

  • Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (these may be cross-functional/segment) may also include external parties. 

  • Proactively lead assigned project by creating project timeline, identifying key milestones, obstacles and additional resources needed to successfully complete the work.

  • Coach or mentor others by providing work direction. May solicit and evaluate internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience

  • 2+ years of Service Operations experience in either Claims or Call Center

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Project Manager

  •  Proven track record meeting project dates

  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders

  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of voice technology (ex. Five9)

We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.

Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
