About this role:

Analyze operational issues and recommend solutions/alternatives to improve practices and ensure integrity of operating systems. This position is responsible for a variety of responsibilities in operations where volumes and financial impacts are significant, and the processes are visible and important to our client.  This position is responsible for performing back-office services for a sensitive client.

What you will be doing?
• Analyzes issues/systems on an ongoing basis to determine when changes to practices are required.
• Investigates known error conditions and follows prescribed error correction procedures.
• Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and determines appropriate actions required to resolve issue(s) and complete processing.
• Makes effective use of tools and resources, utilizes manuals, write-ups and other tools as an aid in solving problems; consults with other experienced analysts for ideas; contributes solutions and other useful information to the body of knowledge.
• Oversight of and escalation point for all incoming and outgoing account transfers.
• Follows escalation procedures when appropriate to resolve processing and/or user problems to meet service levels in a timely manner.
• Communicates systems updates and/or process changes and trains internal customers (employees) on changes, new systems or new procedures.
• Identifies new tools, technology or processes that improve the overall processing environment or processing efficiency.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferable or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

• Excellent problem solving, independent decision making, analytical and time management skills managing multiple tasks/deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment either independently or within a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential as well as experience with related Trust systems

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $65,440.00 - $106,660.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
