About the Team

The Private Brands Team is committed to delivering a cohesive and consistent brand experience through effective portfolio management and minimizing dependencies on third-party agencies.

The Packaging Operations Team is responsible for the execution of our Private Brand strategies. This includes managing packaging, print quality management, packaging innovation, and development. This team oversees the review of instruction manuals, works with Legal on trademarks and registration marks for logos, products, and collection names, and supports our sustainability goals.


Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to administer the planning, prioritization, and scheduling of artwork for Lowe’s Private Brand packaging, at the direction of the Senior and/or Lead Analyst. The Analyst, Project Management, is responsible for implementing the project lifecycle and timely execution of business areas inclusive of: Home Décor, Seasonal/Hardlines and Building Materials encompassing 400+ product groups.


This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of packaging programs that support brand and product messaging while providing an optimal customer experience that increases brand engagement and drives sales. The Analyst must have the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate status updates consistently with Senior/Lead Analyst and cross functional stakeholders in support of high-demand volume in a fast-paced retail environment.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • All members of the Project Management team are responsible for upholding the established brand standards across assigned product categories and within direction and requirements as provided by the US category management teams.
  • Understands the private brands product categories and with direction from Senior/Lead Project Managers, implements execution plans across multiple packaging types, sizes, and their associated timelines.
  • Executes on daily packaging projects; works closely with Category Management, Photography Producers, Production Team, and Global Product Vendors to ensure all projects are executed accurately and on-time.

Project Planning:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as needed.

Project Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of project tasks, ensuring they are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Implement project quality control measures and ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain clear and open communication channels with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed.

Change Management:

  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively, and communicate changes to all relevant parties.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on project goals and objectives.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Generate and distribute regular project progress reports to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lessons learned from completed projects.
  • Implement best practices and share knowledge with the project management team.

Years of Experience

2-5 years of experience in project management or a related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
