IQVIA Swiss Finance Team is looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner who will be responsible for providing commercial and financial support to a number of Business Units in the Swiss market.

Main Accountabilities

  • Regular monitoring of pipeline in coordination with local / regional Sales and Commercial teams in order to effectively forecast revenue through the revenue roadmap process.

  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of assigned offerings, including review of revenue recognition, project performance, and unbilled/unearned positions. Monitor monthly compliance reports, to ensure timely reporting of revenue and billing deliverables by Project Manager.

  • Prepare monthly reporting requirements for assigned offerings, including unsigned contract opportunities, backlog, and other ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

  • Manage project journal entries, write-offs, and financial adjustments and ensure they are properly documented, reviewed and approved.

  • Review and support the Sales and Commercial teams with the pass-through and non-pass-through cost process.

  • Review and provide variance analysis to the management P/L for the assigned offering.

  • Manage the monthly forecast and budget plan for the management P/L and the assigned offering.

Skills, Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3-5 years’ business controlling or project finance experience.

  • University degree (Master/Bachelor) in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent

  • Knowledge of revenue recognition, variance analysis, unbilled/unearned and cash flow management, and forecasting

  • Knowledge of month end process and P&L management

  • Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.

  • Knowledge of Hyperion, SAP and Office applications

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Good communication skills and pro-activity

  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in German (written and spoken) will be considered a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently with a remote line manager.
