We’re looking for an individual with a passion for people, process, and technology to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) within our Customer Success Center of Excellence. This individual will build the framework upon which our global project management practice is built, in addition to driving change management initiatives that unify our internal teams and bring the customer to the center of everything that we do.  Through cross-functional collaboration, and a keen eye for design-centered execution, this role will drive project impact and lead the design and implementation of highly effective change and communication strategies.

This role can be based out of our Austin office or remotely in the Central region.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead establishment of a formal Project Management (PM) function within the Customer Success Center of Excellence to ensure transformational projects are captured, prioritized, tracked, and measured throughout the project lifecycle  
  • Facilitate project lifecycle from kick-off to close to ensure desired outcomes; manage project check-in meetings to ensure deliverables are on track and risk is remediated
  • Communicate needs, timelines, and feedback between project stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability; monitor projects plans, updates, and statuses 
  • Lead the design and delivery of the change management program inclusive of readiness activities, team enablement, and implementation of change management strategies
  • Develop communication strategies and implement processes, activities, and programs that result in timely dissemination of information and communication consistency

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to lead the development, documentation, and execution of a global project portfolio
  • Experience developing a project management framework, including objectives and key metrics, upon which a project will be evaluated and tracked for progress
  • Demonstrated experience building a successful change management framework for field teams including creating and managing relevant communication tactics
  • Self-starter that takes initiative for proactively supporting both strategy and tactical execution plans with high attention to detail and delivery excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including effective listening, written and verbal communication, with ability to influence and align priorities
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with the desire and patience to work cross-functionally with a diverse global team to establish and meet shared organizational goals
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment while still meeting deadlines with ease and accuracy
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience; knowledge of Customer Success a plus; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. $82,000$161,000 USD
