About This Role:
This 8-month maternity leave cover for a Lead Supply Chain Planner, will place you at the forefront of planning and coordinating product supply activities. You will spearhead the implementation of complex Life Cycle Management Activities and prepare for product launches. In this role, you will represent the Supply Chain organization within the PO&T Asset team, driving alignment of the Supply Chain strategy across the broader organization. Acting as a key input for the regional and global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, you will interface between demand, supply points, and the PO&T asset. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and communicating supply risks to management, recommending and implementing corrective and preventive actions to maintain inventory targets and minimize supply risks. Additionally, you will be part of cross-functional teams with key stakeholders such as Commercial S&OP, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Life Cycle Management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop supply plans for commercial assets.
  • Ensure product availability to meet inventory targets and ensure supply to patients
  • Resolve short-term supply issues and gain alignment.
  • Develop recommendations for balancing demand and supply among External Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, and Commercial Quality.
  • Communicate strategic decisions across functional and business units regarding demand and supply balancing.
  • Manage inventory for commercial assets, long-range planning, and implement lifecycle changes into the supply chain.
  • Identify long-term demand and supply challenges.
  • Advise on network capacity management strategies to ensure stable supply.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact within the PO&T Asset Lead and team.
  • Communicate on overall product strategy to ensure alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Develop launch project timelines and identify resource requirements.
  • Drive execution of complex life cycle management activities across Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance capabilities and improve process efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proficiency with various ERPs and planning systems for supply chain management.
  • Experience in contributing and navigating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Prior experience with regulatory processes within supply chain contexts.

This role is offered as a temporary maternity leave cover (approx. 8 months).
