JOB DESCRIPTION: Duck Creek Technologies LLC seeks a Business Analyst I – Management based out of our U.S. headquarters in Boston, MA; however, this is a Remote First (telecommuting/work-from-home) position whereby the employee may reside anywhere within the U.S. This position does not require travel. S/he will analyze and design new business processes and participate in documenting customer requirements to assist the development team in implementation. S/he will work with stakeholders to assess current capabilities and identify high-level customer requirements. Moreover, s/he will elicit detailed product requirements and use cases and develop and maintain the business requirements. S/he will participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the technical team and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements. Additionally, s/he will participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes and other requirement work products. Further, s/he will assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product and user acceptance testing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The position of Business Analyst I – Management requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, an Engineering field, Information Systems, Business/Finance, or a related analytical field. The position requires 5 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related business analysis position. Additionally, the applicant must have the following number of years of professional experience with each of the following:

5 years: Requirements gathering, identifying gaps, estimating, implementation, test planning and execution, and User Acceptance Testing definition and execution; 5 years: Interfacing with customers, including customer presentations; 3 years: Working with P&C Insurance software applications; and 3 years: Software development life cycle for P&C insurance software.
