What You’ll Do

As directed by physician(s) and advanced practitioner(s), performs patient care activities, and provides related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of clinic patients.

Requirements

  • Computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships

  • Ability to maintain system quality standards

  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in various situations

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.

  • Skill in administering injections

  • Ability to obtain vital signs

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engages patient and family and assists in the education of the patient's plan of care

  • Efficient rooming of patients

  • Accurate recording of appropriate documentation in patient record and processing orders

  • Communicating pertinent data to physician/provider

  • Proper use and management of clinic equipment and supplies

  • Accurate utilization of standing orders

  • Appropriate utilization of hand hygiene and personal protective equipment

  • Perform other duties as assigned
