Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

•    Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.  Performs excellent customer service at all times.

•    Safeguards the assets of the company, including financial and physical assets.  This includes auditing of supplies, records, documents, forms and equipment.  

•    Prepares monthly audits and statements for Casino Credit player accounts. 

•    Processes all returned items and completes all applications for in-house check cashing and standard casino credit.

•    Processes all credit payments mailed in and assists in the writing of collection letters and/or notices

•    Processes all returned checks received from Revenue Accounting into the Casino Market Place system.

•    Maintain departmental supplies by taking inventory, ordering, purchasing and reconcile orders and requisitions through CGRC inventory systems. 

•    Assists Cage and Credit Manager and/or the GL Manager in all aspects of collections. 

•    Prepares documents for the collection agency and/or collection attorneys

•    Assists in other clerical jobs as required and directed by the Cage Shift Manager or above.

•    Ensures to a high degree the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, including audit of forms and documents. 

•    Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.

•    Performs any reasonable request made by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required.  Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area preferred.  Clerical or administrative experience preferred.  Casino Cage experience preferred. 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 Knowledge of Central Credit & Cage Policies and Procedures, including Title 31 reporting requirements.  Effective communication skills required.  Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate with     ability to learn current and new computer applications.                

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.

The Team Member is occasionally required to push, pull and carry items 25lbs and more.   

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
