POSITION: Network Security Engineer (2 Positions)

The Network engineer is an integral member of the infrastructure team who are responsible for delivering full network services (Routing, switching, wireless, security) to 1000 + Network enabled JCI locations covering 13000+ network devices in locations ranging from office type locations, High availability manufacturing plants and cloud networks (Azure, Google etc.).

Network security engineering and operations encompasses everything involved with running a global enterprise scale network which includes all network security hardware and software (firewalls, Cloud firewalls, Network Access control, Secure remote access, Micro-segmentation, Zero trust ) and the operational tools required to deliver/manage the environment(s).

OVERVIEW:

The network engineers’ primary areas of involvement will be:

  • Work with the business as part of the wider network team for delivery of Network security projects and network transformation initiatives such as edge firewalls , network segmentation, Zero trust initiatives security automation, network upgrades, and new technology research.
  • Take part in technical architectural design initiatives and build projects for network services
  • Update and maintain monitoring platforms
  • Support our network Cloud infrastructure in Azure, Google and AWS cloud.
  • Actively participates in assigned projects, and in initiatives to improve the delivery of Network services.
