Job Summary:

As a Rating Agency Financial Analyst, you will be a member of the Treasurer’s team. The position will be responsible for the creation and management of various reporting presentations and interface with the teams within the business areas including, but not limited to investment accounting, financial planning and analysis, actuarial, sales, marketing, and product development. Your key responsibilities include designing updated slides for the annual rating agency review meetings, compiling presentations for ad hoc requests, and coordinating content and efforts with subject matter experts across the organization. Concise writing and communication skills are particularly important. Potential development opportunities to streamline the process and bring all entities who are rated by an NRSRO (National Recognized Statistical Ratings Organization) into a standardized process encompassing the Group 1001 family of companies. This is a hybrid position based in the greater Indianapolis (Zionsville) area.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Designing updated content for the annual rating agency reviews
  • Constructing ad hoc presentations for various requests within the company
  • Organizing people and deliverables for larger projects including the collection, compilation and synthesis of collected data and deliverables
  • Manage the rating agency team calendar and playbook
  • Continuous improvement and streamlining of the process across the Group 1001 family of companies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years' experience, Financial Services sector preferred, solid understanding of financial concepts
  • Advanced working knowledge of computer applications including MS PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Creative mindset on how to visually present complex information in a clear, simple way
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and execute under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage across all levels, including leading without direct authority to drive timelines
  • Willingness to learn
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and results driven
  • Intellectually curious, forward-thinking, ability to question the status quo
