• Second level professional applications development position. 

• Significant experience in the field, and works independently of their products and projects. 

• Applies and uses in-depth knowledge of subject matter. 

• Requires the capacity to understand specific client needs or technical requirements in order to apply well-developed skills or knowledge. 

• Liaises with client to understand system requirements and existing business process. 

• Typically codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications. 

• Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area. 

• Ability to execute highly complex or specialised work. 

• Knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in particular area. 

• Works independently, applies standards yet adapts precedent and may make departures from established processes to resolve problems. 

• Responsible for the development of applications (development may be in software, desktop technology, web technology, messaging, mainframe, etc.). 

• Associates Degree (± 13 years) 

• Minimum 1 year
