About the Opportunity:

Sagent Lending is a dynamic and innovative leader in the lending technology industry. We are seeking a dedicated System Engineering Specialist to join our team, based at our Dallas, Texas office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional support and managing the shipping and receiving of equipment for provisioning and deprovisioning for our local and remote users. As a System Engineering Specialist at Sagent Lending, you will be an integral part of our IT support team committed to delivering exceptional service and support. This role is a full time, in-office role, at our beautiful new office located in the Cypress Waters business complex. 

Your day-to-day at Sagent:

System Support:

  • Provide experienced technical support and assistance to our Dallas-based staff; resolving hardware and software issues, troubleshooting technical problems, and guiding them to maintain efficient desktop setups.

Equipment Provisioning and Deprovisioning:

  • Mange the provisioning of equipment to new hires across and current associates across the country, ensuring they have the necessary tools and software for their roles.
  • Oversee the deprovisioning process for associates, including equipment collection and data security procedures.

Asset Management:

  • Maintain a precise inventory of all hardware and software assets, monitoring updates, maintenance, and replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management protocols.

Security Compliance:

  • Enforce security protocols and ensure that all desktop setups align with company policies and industry best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Assist with ensuring monthly patching and vulnerability remediation is critical for this role.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly security or compliance audits to  ensure an orderly environment.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring all associates, whether in an office or remote, have access to the necessary tools and resources.

Documentation:

  • Keep detailed records of equipment allocations, issues, and resolutions.
  • Create user-friendly documentation to help remote associates troubleshoot common technical problems.

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of equipment for all associates, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
  • Manage the return, repair, and maintenance processes for all equipment.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience OR 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of customer support best practices.
  • Proven experience in System Engineering and desktop support or a similar technical role.
  • Strong self-starter who can focus on improving processes and looking for better (more efficient) ways to get the work done.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues for both office-based and remote associates.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from the Dallas office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
