Manulife is looking for Actuarial Manager/ Senior Actuarial Manager to support diversified and ongoing financial optimization projects under IFRS17 and RBC, helping Manulife leading in the dynamic market.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work on a wide range of financial optimization initiatives on both inforce and new business portfolio including but not limited to par management, reinsurance, investment, policy review, modelling enhancement and etc.
  • Enhance pricing and valuation models.
  • Participate in design and revamp compensation for agency based on experience and to support key channel initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields, with progress in actuarial examinations of an internationally-recognized actuarial organization.
  • Minimum 6 years’ of relevant working experience in insurance or actuarial consultant industry.
  • Solid actuarial knowledge and experience in valuation, financial reporting, and/or product pricing.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate initiatives, commitment and able to work independently.
  • Self-motivated, self-development oriented, driving for results and quality.
  • Strong communication skill, both written and oral.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with demanding deadlines.
