Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Analytics & Value Delivery, is responsible for providing client-facing analytic subject matter expertise to ensure clinical and financial program value is clearly communicated to key stakeholders of a variety of audiences including business leaders, actuaries, medical leadership, and healthcare consultants. They will play a pivotal role in engagement and retention of clients through delivery of program outcomes, as well as contributing to defining how care management product value is delivered through contracted reporting and analytics via standard report templates, talk tracks and value stories. In addition, they will lead the Analytics & Value Delivery team in delivering value through analytics to clients.

  • Build collaborative relationships with clients, analytics teams and key stakeholders to bring best-in-class analytics delivery
  • Deliver value narratives as defined in standardized talk tracks and product value stories
  • Act as liaison for ad-hoc and custom client reporting requests
  • Provide consultation on reporting needs, enhancements, and industry trends.
  • Contributes to streamlining value delivery processes, including participating in the development of strategic plans and objectives to improve client experience goals.
  • Provides leadership to a team of managers, and collaborates with the Analytics & Value Strategy team.
  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices and standards for delivery of analytics within the Delivery & Outcomes team.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years professional communication experience demonstrating and delivering industry knowledge to key stakeholders.
  • 5+ years Healthcare or Insurance-related experience
  • 2+ years leading a team, either directly or indirectly
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written,
  • Experience in effectively communicating complex concepts and ability to influence and drive consensus among a variety of audiences with varying technical and analytic backgrounds.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data and analytics. Solid understanding of the US healthcare system including provider and payor landscape, as well as Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Strong knowledge of business financial analysis methods, statistical analysis, and/or clinical and outcomes research
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor junior team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Healthcare, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Comparable work experience may be considered.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
