Engineer Strategy Program Manager

Description -

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading strategic programs within the Engineering Strategy Program Office, driving Engineering strategy and process optimization through business data and competitive intelligence. The role combines deep business acumen with data analytics capabilities to support executive decision-making on Engineering business strategies. The position manages cross-functional initiatives, translates complex technical and market data into actionable business insights, and partners with engineering, supply chain, and business teams to deliver strategic and data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive PC market analysis using IDC data and competitive intelligence to assess market trends, segment performance, and competitive positioning; develops actionable recommendations for product strategy.
  • Leads strategic Engineering optimization initiatives across the PC portfolio, analyzing BOM costs, pricing strategies, and identifying optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manages data analytics workflows including data cleaning, preparation, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing to ensure data integrity and support business decision-making.
  • Creates compelling data visualizations and executive-level presentations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to communicate complex analyses and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drives best practices in data governance, project management methodologies, and strategic planning processes across the program office.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to team members on analytical methods, business strategy, and project management.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in data analytics, statistical modeling, and translating data into business recommendations.
