Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Lead the preparation of the monthly accounting reporting package, including financial statements, supporting
schedules, and variance analysis.
· Review and approve detailed balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
· Maintain integrity of the general ledger, including oversight of account classifications, cleanup initiatives, and
correction of errors.
· Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
· Present and lead monthly balance sheet review meetings with management.
· Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support management decision-making.
· Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen internal controls.
· Maintain supporting documentation for audit purposes and serve as a key point of contact for audit requests
and technical accounting matters.
· Oversee the timely completion of month-end close in accordance with corporate deadlines.
· Champion special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements as needed.
· Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications,
establishing personal networks, and/or participating in professional associations.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
· Minimum five years of accounting experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
· Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other
departments.
· Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
· Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information
into an organized and presentable manner.
· Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred: Preferred: Strong working knowledge of SAP and Power Bi report building.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college preferably in accounting.
