Job Summary:

 Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a Communications Business Partner to support the many internal and external efforts of the Marketing & Communications (Marcom) department and other system departments and service lines under the umbrella of Brightli, Burrell’s parent company.

The Business Partner must be skilled and passionate about communicating with staff and internal stakeholders. They will help execute system-wide initiatives that will further our strategic goals and brand priorities. In addition, the Business Partner will support other Burrell marketing and communications efforts, including internal communications, events, marketing opportunities, and reputation management, and provide value to the organization’s overall growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Marketing & Communications colleagues to develop, support and execute department-level and system-wide internal communications and marketing projects including e-mail campaigns, internal and external newsletters, employee engagement programs, virtual and in-person internal events and more.
  • Serve as a key Communications liaison to multiple system support departments and service lines, leading in development, writing and editing of communications materials including e-mail campaigns, news releases and web copy, marketing materials, digital materials and more.
  • Work closely with the Communications Director to support all internal communications needs across platforms, including e-mail, video, company intranet (Spark Source), and others.
  • Provide tactical and strategic communications support for system-wide initiatives.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Required Experience: 2+ years in communications or public relations with relevant behavioral health and media background. Other healthcare background may be considered in lieu of behavioral health with other relevant experience.

  • Top of field verbal and written communication and presentation skills, both in person and on-camera, with demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into compelling communications. 
  • Experience with a variety of media, media platforms, social networks and more. Video production skills are a plus.
  • Collaborative worker capable of promoting expertise with a variety of stakeholders through both interpersonal interactions and written communications.
  • Capable of managing thoughtful follow-through on all potential opportunities and relationships.

  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel strategic communications plans.
