Project Role : Cloud Operations Engineer
Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

Summary: As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will engage in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environments and applications. Your typical day will involve overseeing cross-technology administration, which includes operating systems, databases, and virtual networks. You will also focus on scripting and monitoring automation execution, ensuring that incidents are managed effectively with a strong emphasis on service restoration. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in managing the rollout of patches and the release management schedule, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of cloud operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure best practices. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud security best practices. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
