ROLE OVERVIEW:

Oversee all operations of the storeroom including inventory control and analysis, replacement parts ordering, stock equipment repairs, parts dispensing and materials receiving.  Completion of special assignments as delegated by the Maintenance Manager. 

Pay range hourly -  $17.98 - $34.04

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes the storeroom process and develops continuous improvement actions to maximize service levels at optimal cost levels

  • Continually optimizing storeroom inventory based on obsolescence, needed quantities on-hand, and process criticality

  • Inventory Control; all parts on an annual cycle count at a minimum

  • Materials issuing and replenishment tracking

  • Receives and unpacks incoming purchase orders

  • Restock, organize and order parts as needed and request supplies as needed

  • Maintains storeroom cleanliness and orderliness

  • Maintain computer files for storeroom systems and tracking. 

  • Update equipment parts lists and prepare necessary reports to ensure critical items are reordered.

  • Reconciles requisitions, purchase order and invoices for satisfactory payment approval

  • Contacts vendors to clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.

  • Coordinate with purchasing and accounting departments Incorporates and maintains safety observances, participate in safety committees and other safety objectives

  • Assist with other duties as needed

  • Other storeroom and maintenance support items as assigned.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.  Technical School, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience minimum.  5 plus years industrial storeroom or inventory control experience preferred. 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.  CMMS and other computer ERP based systems preferred

The base pay offered for this position may vary based on market data and other factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may be eligible for a short-term incentive in addition to base pay.
