Current Need

We are looking for a Lead IT Architect in our JDE E1 CNC space.

This role is key in maintaining and modernizing our JD Edwards platform. The role provides a strategic vision towards this platform enabling the architectural runway for delivering state of the art solutions for our business. With a goal of operational excellence, continuous improvement and modernization of this ERP platform, our leadership will be counting on this role to guide us towards those deliverables.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring continuous availability and performance of all JDE environments through proactive performance tuning and risk mitigation.
  • Day-to-day support, administration, and problem resolution of the applications.
  • Daily maintenance, patch updates and testing.
  • Server and client package build and deployments.
  • Application of ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Service Pack upgrades.
  • JDE Administration of Print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SM/SAW.
  • Management of environments, foundations, path codes , OCM maps and instances.
  • Provide complete and timely support for end users and batch schedule teams.
  • Support third party system interfaces including EDI, Vertex, BSSVs
  • Recommend new best practices.
  • Object Management Workbench administration.
  • Fine-tuning configuration settings
  • Support Data refresh activities
  • Support Disaster Recovery activities
  • Create standard operating procedures for routine tasks.

Minimum Requirements

Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the JD Edwards E1 Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality, 9.2.x version
  • Experience with Install, Setup, Configuration, and package builds.
  • ASU/ESU/Release/Patch/PoC/Upgrades/Service packs management experience.
  • JDE E1 OMW, OCM skills
  • IBM OS/400 and DB2 - basic level
  • JDE monitoring, troubleshooting/problem solving techniques experience
  • Experience with Modernization aspects - Deployment advancements in 9.2, Orchestrator/AIS roll-out.
  • Experience in a high-volume, complex JDE E1 environment.

  • Communication and presentation skills to present to Senior Management
  • Familiarity with JDE table structures
  • JDE E1 Basic Developer skills
  • JDE E1 Security Knowledge
  • CL Programming, DB2 Server database
  • Control-M Scheduler

Education

4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$138,800 - $231,300
