About the Team

In the Security Engineering Unit at Fireblocks, you will be responsible for designing and implementing core components that are crucial to the security of the platform and clients.
We work in small, elite, fast-moving teams and we build intuitive, fun, and easy-to-use applications while keeping a world-class security architecture.

What You’ll Do


• Lead high-scale technical projects and serve as a focal point across teams.
• Tackle end-to-end scalability challenges across systems.
• Enhance and expand existing security services and infrastructure.
• Advocate for and enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor and educate engineers across disciplines and levels.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues.
• Contribute to engineering and standardization efforts across Fireblocks’ groups.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our services meet security, availability, reliability, scalability, and performance goals.

What You’ll Bring


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on web development.
• Deep proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.j,s including their ecosystems and best practices.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable, low-latency, and high-reliability services that handle heavy traffic.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in fast-paced, agile, and security-focused environments.
• Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, or any relevant technologies in a modern cloud-native stack.
