About the Position:

The Senior Immigration Legal Assistant is responsible for providing support in the preparation and filing of immigration-related documents. This role is responsible for managing case documentation and client communications to assist international clinicians and practitioners through the immigration process.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the Permanent Labor Certification process, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor regularly to review case progress, discuss ongoing projects, and align goals and deadlines.
  • Prepare routine letters, memos, legal documents, and post notices with precision and clarity.
  • Develop and manage spreadsheets to organize and track key data efficiently.
  • Utilize and master eImmigration software to manage case files and documentation effectively.
  • Organize, store, and retrieve physical and digital case files in a systematic manner.
  • Work directly with candidates to gather necessary case documentation and evidence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare filings for immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, responses to government agencies, and handle other immigration-related legal matters.
  • Distribute posting notices as required and communicate with client facilities to educate them about the process.
  • Educate candidates on immigration procedures and ensure adherence to established Immigration Legal Services procedures.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Three years of experience with Permanent Labor Certification is required
  • Three years of related business immigration experience required.
  • Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization.
  • Obtain facts and data pertaining to an issue or question.
  • Understand, interpret, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Focus on the details of work content, work steps, and final work products.
  • Proactively obtain and share information tailored to the audience.
  • Analyze work, set goals, develop plans of action, utilize time
  • Engage effectively in dialogue.

Salary: $75,000-$85,000

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
