In this role, you’ll take ownership of GL reporting activities, working independently to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate guidelines. You will also provide essential support to compliance, audits, and other key financial processes.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate Globally: Work with global teams and across all Harman businesses.
• Take Ownership: Independently perform daily tasks and activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion according to written instructions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the general accounting and reporting team, as well as with the line manager.
• Month-End Closing: Handle reconciliation between ERP and consolidation tools, prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and schedules, Ensure accurate delivery of BPC reporting across interco, Finance, and other required applications
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform detailed reconciliations of various Balance Sheet GL accounts and track open items with action plans and targeted dates of closure, Follow up with relevant action owners to timely resolution of the open items
• Lease Accounting: Work on IFRS_16 lease related accounting tasks.
• Compliance Focused: Regularly review and update control documents, ensuring compliance across all activities and ensure zero deficiencies, support internal and external audits.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in GL accounting.
• Intermediate English + professional language skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
• Showing ability to work in multinational environment
• Being able to work with priorities and deadlines

Nice to Have:

• SAP knowledge
• Finance Reporting experience
