Summary:
As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure the smooth functioning of network infrastructures and provide technical support to resolve any issues that may arise. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting network problems, and implementing solutions to optimize network performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of services and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
"Key Responsibilities
Candidate should have excellent troubleshooting knowledge in Windows, VMware, Linux, Unix, networking and contact center devices, applications. Strong knowledge in IT Infrastructure monitoring, specifically on servers, network, cloud, Contact center (Voice) components. Needs to lead the L1 and L1.5 team who are working on incident, Service request and Change for Network infra (router, switches, Wireless AP, Wireless LAN controller and Meraki appliances), Server infra with Windows, VMware, Linux, Unix operating system, Cloud operations and Contact center operations.
Candidate should respond or his/her team should respon immediately on the infrastructure’s incidents which comes through event management and provide resolution within the agreed SLA. Needs to coordinate with various internal teams, external vendor, and service provider to fix Infrastructure related Level 1 / L2 incidents and Service Requests. Timely escalation, regular updates to management should be done as on when required. Document the incident, change and problem records in ticketing tools such ServiceNow. Candidate expected to share the daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management for operational activities.
Technical Experience
At least 4-5 years hands on experience in Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Windows Server Administration Windows 2k3/8/12/16 -Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on VMware Administration vSphere 5x and 6x versions. Expected excellent written and Verbal Communication skill and should have Knowledge of DHCP, AD, DNS and basic networking knowledge -Windows core level troubleshooting
Must have extensive working experience with Routing/Switching; various protocols such as FHRP/BFD/STP; IP routing protocol such as OSPF, ISIS and BGP and other technologies such as VRF/IPSec/NAT/Policy Routing.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree (B.E, B.Tech or equivalent Degree)
Good to Have:-
CCNA or Microsoft server administration related certifications
Cloud Practsioner or Fundamental Certifications.
ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification. "
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
