Summary of Job Duties:
The Supervisor, Guest Hospitality is the point of contact person for the Hospitality Department and overseer when Assistant Director is out of the office. This position is responsible for providing direction and guidance to the other supervisors as well as staff. This position is responsible for training staff, customer service, and scheduling of employees. As well as, making sure all competencies and regulatory agencies standards are met in the Hospitality areas (Main Lobby Information Desk, ICU waiting Desks, PRI information Desk, 2nd Floor OR waiting room, Cart Drivers, Outside Lobby Greeter, One Day Surgery Desk, & PACU). This position is responsible for coordinating with waiting room managers, Patient Family Center Care (PFCC), admissions, and EVS staff to provide excellence customer service for patient and guest.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years in a supervisory position, with an emphasis in customer service/ guest relations. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for these requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree; specifically in Hospitality and/or Business Administration Field.

- (35%) Experience Quality Assurance: Physically on the floor in the Hospitality areas; handling questions, concerns, or complaints; maintaining awareness of department status and potential problems by observation; able to sufficiently train and supervise all personnel while following UAMS policies & procedures and maintaining a safe work environment; cover service areas when needed
- (30%) Supervise Hospitality Employees: Oversees the logistics of all hospitality areas and waiting rooms; conducts daily/weekly meetings with staff; fairly and consistently holds employees accountable to UAMS and Department policies and procedures; Coaches and counsels employees
- (25%) Administrative Responsibilities: Schedules maintenance needs; inventory management of supplies, reviewing applications, interviewing; scheduling; annual requirement; Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher
- (10%) Other duties as assigned
