We are seeking a talented individual to join our Proposal Team. This role will be based in Bogota, Colombia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

The Proposal Specialist uses knowledge of Marsh’s solutions to help develop a value proposition tailored to each customer. This includes establishment of a win strategy, coordination with all internal departments (Claims, Advisory, Sales, Specialty, etc.), identification of required resources, management of the solution/proposition development and all activities related to the RFP.

We will count on you to:

  • Responsible for the development & creation of clear, concise, comprehensive, and compelling proposals that reflect our prospective and existing client's needs.

  • Develop an understanding of the proposed solution and then build upon current information and material to craft a tailored proposal that incorporates bid strategy, specific client benefits, organizational positioning, and supporting messages and/or case studies.

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and write new content for proposal responses while updating the centrally managed knowledge base. (Loopio & SharePoint).

  • Develop expertise in navigating complex RFP processes and identify key elements required for successful responses. Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and drive effective collaboration across account teams.

  • Proactively foster good communication and interaction with key stakeholders involved in the RFP.

  • Develop and ensure follow-up of workplans across all workstreams, including proposal development, pricing, competitive intelligence, placement, and legal/contract management.

  • Facilitate collaborative decision-making, using real-time reporting of progress of milestones to close, fueling open and transparent communication across the account team and all the stakeholders participating in the RFP.

  • Must be comfortable creating documents that meet compliance and technology requirements, align with sales objectives, and provide clear technical and non-technical information.

  • Manages small teams to large teams and/or work efforts.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of CRM tools (SalesForce, MS Dynamics)

  • Strong writing skills in Spanish and English.

  • English language fluency (oral and written).

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or project-based work (organizing multiple moving pieces to meet tight deadlines).

  • Proposal development or bid management experience. Good to have: APMP certification.
