The Marketing Data Analyst will leverage advanced analytics software and marketing technology platforms to analyze marketing data, optimize digital campaigns, and improve website performance. This role focuses on quantifying marketing efforts, interpreting data trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance our marketing strategies and drive business growth.

Additional Details:

  • Analyze marketing data from various sources to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, attribute lead conversion metrics to sources, and provide actionable insights.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports using analytics software to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Utilize website reporting tools (e.g., GA4) to monitor and optimize website performance and user behavior.

  • Utilize marketing technology platforms to manage, track, and optimize digital marketing campaigns.

  • Implement and configure analytics tools to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

  • Apply strong quantification skills to measure marketing activities, calculate ROI, and provide data-driven recommendations for campaign improvements.

  • Conduct A/B testing and other experimental methodologies to assess the impact of marketing initiatives.

  • Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements to marketing operations, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.

  • Identify and recommend process improvements based on operational analytics findings.

  • Extract and transform data from various sources and load it into MS SQL databases, files, and/or analytics platforms for in-depth analysis.

  • Write SQL queries and utilize MS SQL database and Marketing Analytics tool data processing capabilities to analyze large datasets effectively.

  • Implement and support processes for data security and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, in data handling and analysis practices.

  • Automation of data sourcing and reporting by writing code, complete documentation, test and debug applications using programming, develop automated flows for sourcing data to support creating visual aids like reports, charts, tables, etc., in support of findings.

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with business goals.

  • Present complex data findings and actionable insights to various stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner.

  • Continuously explore and implement new analytical tools, techniques, and best practices to improve data analysis processes.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in marketing analytics and technology.

  • Document current processes and models to understand opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in analytics software such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.

  • Ability to calculate and interpret metrics, ROI, and statistical significance.

  • Experience with platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, and campaign tracking and optimization.

  • Proficient with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating visual reports.

  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Expertise in monitoring and optimizing website performance using tools like GA4.

  • Understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

  • Understanding methodology and application of different lead attribution methodologies for evaluating marketing activity impact and lead source performance.

  • Familiarity with testing methods to assess marketing effectiveness.

  • Proficiency in SQL and/or other programming languages (preferred).

  • Knowledge of regulations related to marketing data privacy and compliance.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing data analysis role or similar position.

  • Proven track record of using analytics software to drive marketing insights and optimization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
