What You Will Do:
This role in Guidehouse’s Defense & Security Segment headquartered in Northern Virginia will involve overall management of client delivery, growing client relationships, and leading business development activities within the Department of the Navy and other DoD organizations. The Associate Director will also coordinate and collaborate with Guidehouse leaders within the Defense & Security Sector to identify and pursue growth opportunities, manage delivery quality, and mentor practitioners within the Defense and Intelligence practice.

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • TEN (10) or more years' experience managing complex initiatives and projects to achieve impactful outcomes in a maritime environment. 
  • Expert in driving business development activities and leading all aspects of winning federal proposals, with proven ability to generate new wins and revenue for your company.
  • Strong communication and program management skills, and the ability to operate proactively and independently within dynamic and unstructured environments.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Cross-functional experience in federal acquisition, human capital/organizational transformation, financial improvement and audit readiness, process improvement, and IT portfolio management.
  • Master's degree or higher formal education
