Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous improvement of deployment processes are also key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud and on-premises systems.
- Assist in documenting architecture designs and deployment procedures to support knowledge sharing.
- Monitor deployed environments to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of application integration between cloud and non-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with performance testing and security validation of cloud solutions.
- Ability to create and validate proof of architecture models.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
