Job Summary
Responsible for participating as a technical expert. Plans and directs project teams, troubleshoots operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, contributes to new product implementation, implements existing products and services and the provides overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Applies expert engineering methodologies in one or more engineering areas. Interfaces with vendors, engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Ability to troubleshoot and repair all but the most complex issues. Performs maintenance activities with a minimum of supervision and guidance. Leads technical outage bridges and engages appropriate resources to drive issues to closure.
Acts as an advocate for Engineering Operations procedures, policies and processes. Ensures projects and initiatives are adhering to Company standards.
Tracks and reports operational workflows; maintains records of results and feedback. Analyzes data and metrics, identifies problem areas and provides actionable insight.
Analyses problems in design, configuration, data flow and data state within a highly complex multi-product provisioning system.
Performs routine maintenance tests for designated areas of engineering and ensures all maintenance is properly validated to minimize impact.
Provide excellent customer service to existing customers and act as a product evangelist for prospective customers.
Attains industry standard certifications and education.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Skills & Requirements
Hands-on experience with Linux system management and troubleshooting
Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python for automation and process improvement.
Platform operations experience in private and public cloud and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automation, and observability tools like Grafana, Elastic.
Strong operational background with expertise in managing and optimizing day-to-day IT/DevOps operations
Experience with agile methodologies using Jira, or a similar platform for scaling agile development practices.
Act as a point of contact for customers or internal development teams, providing technical assistance and escalating complex issues to other resources as needed.
Effective working independently and in a team environment, both onsite and virtual
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust the messaging to the audience.
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ relevant experience, including multiple years in a senior level technical position.
