PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Integration technician is responsible for integration, disassembly, repair, testing of subassemblies, LRUs, wire harnesses, and other electronic assemblies.  This position will support the project team in accomplishing integration tasks in accordance with (IAW) Statement of Work (SOW) requirements. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Must have a thorough understanding of AC and DC principals.
•    Demonstrable knowledge of simplistic and moderately complex tasks associated with the fabrication and assembly of electrical/electronic, mechanical, and hardware assemblies.
•    Ability to use various test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, RF monitors, etc.
•    Must be able to perform subassembly and final assembly testing IAW documented procedures 
•    Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, engineering blueprints, and modification instructions for installing, fabricating, and testing a variety electrical systems and components for various military ground support systems.
•    Knowledge of Mil-SPEC connectors
•    Follows the quality management system to perform product realization tasks are performed IAW work orders, routers, and approved technical documentation to include but not limited to military drawings, work instructions, technical manuals, and modification work orders. 
•    Work with the project team and/or customer to recommend corrective action for mechanical or electrical design issues found during integration.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

•    Knowledge and experience performing mechanical and electrical assembly and/or integration on military ground vehicles, ground support equipment, and / or aviation components including but not limited to LRUs.
•    Experience reading intermediate mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, or other manufacturing documentation will be required.
•    Use of hand tools and special test equipment.
•    Computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
•    Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
•    Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
•    Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

•    High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience in the field including 2 years of interpreting military specifications, methods and procedures from schematics, drawings and diagrams is desired.
•    Must possess or have the ability to obtain IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
•    Experience with quality assurance, integration, modifications, and maintenance.
•    Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
