Creating LivaNova and ultimately building a new premier medical device company has been an exciting time for us! In response to our growth, we have an opportunity for a Field Service Technical Engineer to join our Cardiac Surgery (CS) Service Team.
Independently, you will provide technical support to our existing customers for our CS Products. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with heart-lung machines and other cardiopulmonary equipment. You will put your excellent troubleshooting skills to work as you manage problems and issues as needed.

Here is what Year One is all about:
Provides corrective maintenance on equipment within assigned territory.
Responsible and accountable for all assigned company assets including tools, test equipment, inventory, computers, pagers, corporate cards, documentation, “intellectual property," etc.
Completes timely paperwork, documentation, and administrative tasks per organizational policy and procedures.
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment within scheduled time frames.
Communicates accurate technical findings to enable thorough analysis of problems, root causes, and resolutions.
Sells service business as appropriate and works closely with the sales team to continue a strong LivaNova presence.
Requirements:
You need to possess 3 + years’ recent prior experience working in-field technical support or with electronics/mechanical background (in-house work) if you are excited for a change and a new challenge.
2 years of technical college or equivalent experience.
Travel expectations of 50% - 75%

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $75,000- $85,000 base + bonus potential.
We are looking for someone with concrete examples of working independently, being self-motivated, and self-disciplined. You will need these soft critical skills to succeed from the start.
