About the team:

Our team is part of the PTS (Post Trade Service) group that is providing end to end solution for post-trade derivatives processing to our customers. Our clients are some of the world largest financial institutions and our goal is to build world class products that will change Fintech industry. Our team is distributed all over the globe, which we believe gives great opportunity for personal and company growth.  Focus of our team is in creating and enhancing products within the solution that would push the boundaries of current business offerings and technology.

What you will be doing:

• Database monitoring
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Oracle and Exadata setup, including writing bash scripts
• Database performance tuning and optimization (table partitioning, tablespace disk management, table fragmentation)
• SQL tuning including query plan analysis
• Participating in process of creation of efficient normalized and denormalized table definitions
• Implementing Oracle DB security
• Actively participate in backup and restore process design.
• Oracle AWR report analysis

What you bring:

• Extensive experience with Oracle Database 19c
• Proficient in optimizing complex queries and store procedures, optimized indexing
• Database design skills
• Knowledge of Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for backup
• Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters and Exadata setups
• Understanding of database security and practices
• Proficiency in shell scripting
• Proficiency in Docker
• Familiarity with Linux
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer
• Knowledge of cloud database solutions such as Oracle cloud, Amazon RDS for Oracle, MS Azure

Added bonus if you have:

• Java knowledge
• Report generation
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes
