Applications are invited for the role of Terminal Team Leader at our Aberdeen base.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the terminal teams to deliver safe and efficient processing of passengers for flight departures.
  • Complete effective roster patterns to maximise efficiency of available team resources.
  • Ensure all required procedures, as detailed in the Ground Operations Manual (GOM), are followed correctly and consistently.
  • Manage changing priorities successfully in a dynamic environment.
  • Ensure key team and passenger safety messages are displayed, and that all safety briefings are undertaken.
  • Act as focal point for queries relating to flight progress, changes, or issues on the day of operations, and for oversight of third-party provider services, such as cafes and survival equipment teams.
  • Ensure initial and recurrent training and competency checks are completed diligently, and required records are maintained.
  • Complete self-audit programmes with the freight, baggage, and ramp team leaders.
  • Complete safety and operational communications.
  • Act as a safety leader and assist in root cause analysis and actions to prevent re-occurrence on any safety issues.
  • Promote safety, and safety reporting.
  • Liaison - Interface with client base and key internal stakeholders and ensure robust communication protocols are maintained.
  • Manage facilities to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Pro-actively propose service/ process improvements.
  • •Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained, and all equipment is checked in accordance with the procedures documented in the GOM.
  • Create and amend documentation in support of above activities and for client driven communications.


Experience & Skills:

  • Strong communications skills
  • Supervisory experience, or able to demonstrate full understanding of what is required in this type of role
  • Ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to engage effectively
  • Strong IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum
  • Highly motivated and experience of working in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience of competency-based training desirable
