Job Description:

This position is responsible for engaging design influencers, engineers and specification writers to drive IATD products from exploration to specification.  Will lead spec-in process by providing technical and commercial support primarily to design centers and as necessary to manufacturing sites and tier suppliers.  Will work closely with the key decision makers to identify requirements, develop projects, fill the opportunity pipeline, achieve design specifications and close sales globally.  This role will drive Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division (IATD) solution mainly at Automotive and Appliance markets in Korea based design centers and coordinate to support global production through 3M’s distribution and converting channels.

Role and Responsibilities

• Specify 3M products at key OEM’s and Tiers on engineering drawings & provide support required to transition business to manufacturing locations throughout zones, regions and subsidiaries.

• Engage industrial designers, design influences and engineers to develop a hopper or projects to move from exploration to production.

• Ability to build strong relationship with your customers

• Account development and manage the entire supply chains to qualify/requalify 3M products.

• Derives global Go-To product portfolio.

• Strong engagement in NPI and support on global/regional programs.

• Ability to manage complex situations & prioritize sales opportunities.

• Work with channel partners and converters to serve the customers as necessary

• Work with 3M subsidiaries (FSR, BPS, DSS, AEs and others) to serve the customer at the most efficient/effective ways that benefit to the 3M.

• Work closely with 3M subsidiaries and design country (Korea) for any reverse spec-in opportunities (prioritization required).

• Manages project process through SFDC

Qualifications

• Bechelor's degree or above

• Min. 5 years of experience about sales

• Proven track record in sales.

• Sales experience with Korea OEM/Tiers preferably in Automotive / Appliance industry

• Sales experience with PSA and adhesives technology

• Knowledge in converter process such as die cutting, slitting, prototype

• Ability to work as a team member in a matrix organization
