Job Summary:
The is an exciting opportunity in Acrisure's growing HR Operations department to join our Human Resources Service Center and immediately make an impact on the overall employee experience. The HR Associate contributes to a positive employee experience by assisting with new hire onboarding and terminations, answering and escalating HR concerns from employees, troubleshooting issues and concerns, and collaborating with contacts at Acrisure Partners to provide best in class service.
Responsibilities:
Provides concierge service in daily communications with employees and leadership regarding their transactional Human Resources needs.
Administers human resources tasks and activities to meet the unique needs of each Agency Partner including but not limited to
Initiating and supporting electronic onboarding of new hires.
Processing and tracking background checks and drug screens.
Processing changes within our HCM systems related to all areas of employment including core employee records, benefits and payroll.
Processing changes within our information systems related to the setup of our Acrisure Partners or business units and their unique data and processing needs.
Populating, distributing, and collecting employment agreement documents
Assisting Acrisure Partners and/or employees where needed with navigation and questions related to their HR employee self-service portals.
Processing employment verifications in partnership with a third-party vendor.
Reviews and interprets transactional data to resolve issues and propose process improvements while demonstrating sensitivity and respect at all times.
Audit and validate employee data
Supports Legal and HR Advisors with pulling basic record request
Supports administrative or data entry needs for our HR Organization
Recommends process improvements, system enhancements and alternatives to their team based on Acrisure Partner needs.
Assists with projects and supports priorities and initiatives within the Human Resources Team.
Provides exemplary customer service in all encounters.
Assists with training or knowledge transfer activities as needed.
Remains informed of and adheres to compliance with all State and Federal human resource laws and regulations
Education and/or Experience:
Associate degree or recognized equivalent of education and experience, required
2+ years of experience working in an HR capacity preferred, Call Center experience preferred
Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in HR (or related discipline of Business Administration) may be substituted for experience requirement listed above
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS 365 Teams and HRIS Technology
Multi-state experience is a plus Experience with Workday is a plus
Must be organized and detailed-oriented
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively with others to create and foster a positive, team-oriented environment
Must have a high level of problem-solving capability
Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently
Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication
Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills
