What you will do-

Join our team as an Associate Manager, Inventory Control, where you’ll lead, coach, and mentor our Inventory Control Team to achieve key performance indicators and enhance inventory management processes across Canada. In this role, you'll collaborate with the Asset Management leadership team to drive strategic initiatives that improve systems and workflows to deliver exceptional customer experiences. We're looking for a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about upholding Stryker’s Mission and Values while making a meaningful impact. This is a hybrid role. We are seeking a candidate in Hamilton or surrounding area. The employee is expected to be physically present at a Stryker location every week but has the flexibility to work from home.

  • Lead and coach the Inventory Control team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment focused on teamwork and knowledge sharing

  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and employee engagement sessions to motivate team members, address challenges, and celebrate successes, ensuring high employee satisfaction

  • Develop and execute individualized growth plans for high-potential team members, and manage annual and interim performance reviews to support career progression

  • Oversee the planning and execution of continuous improvement projects, ensuring departmental compliance with company policies and timely updates to work instructions and SOPs

  • Manage inventory control processes, including count programs, SOX audit requirements, expiry management, and training delivery for all team members

  • Prepare and analyze departmental KPI reports, providing insights, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to meet financial targets and improve inventory metrics

  • Represent the Inventory Control team as a Subject Matter Expert on global initiatives and process improvement projects, ensuring a strong focus on customer experience and operational efficiency

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain Management or Finance is a strong asset) -required 

  • 6 years of working experience in an operations or commercial environment -required

  • Medical device industry experience “preferred”

  • Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) “preferred”

  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
