Job Description Summary

Audits and packages product prior to shipping. This job is an audit floater position and could cover any audit in the facility as required, including packaging support. This is a first shift position (6a - 2p) and the starting wage is $16.40/hour. Job Description

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

  • Inspects parts according to final acceptance instructions.
  • Packs parts for final shipment as per packaging info.
  • Notifies Supervisor in the event they find nonconformance parts.
  • Identifies nonconforming material with reject tags till repair reject tags are issued by Quality.
  • Fills out final acceptance instruction sheets and any other sheets associated with the parts.
  • Performs any other jobs assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Maintains a safe work area by performing general housekeeping duties in work area

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES WITHIN THE QUALITY SYSTEM:

  • Release product to ship or to the next operation by following documented instructions.
  • Stop production for nonconforming or suspect product.
  • Identify and record problems.
  • Recommend solutions to problems through channels.

Required Skills and Education

high school diploma or GED preferred but not required
