As Vice President - Commercial Strategic Initiatives on the Dow Jones Energy Strategy & Operations team, your role will be central to executing the division’s growth and operational strategy. You will have a primary focus on driving the commercial success of integration initiatives and incubating new strategic opportunities. You will ensure that strategic plans translate into rigorous, commercially sound, and customer-centric execution across the business. You will report directly to the General Manager - Dow Jones Energy.

Lead the commercial integration of existing businesses, ensuring a seamless and value-maximizing alignment of product, sales, marketing, and operational functions
Identify, scope, and develop proposals for new strategic initiatives that align with the division’s long-term growth objectives, presenting data-backed recommendations to the SVP and Energy leadership team
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Sales, and Finance to translate strategic mandates into actionable commercial plans and ensure operational readiness to support integrated offerings
Develop, monitor, and report on key commercial metrics and integration milestones, providing timely insights to the SVP on progress, risks, and required interventions
Apply strong financial and commercial acumen to evaluate the feasibility and potential return on investment for new strategic and integration projects
Partner with operational teams to leverage technology and AI-driven insights to improve go-to-market processes and enhance the commercial customer experience
Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across Dow Jones to drive alignment and secure resources for strategic and integration priorities
Prepare materials, analysis, and recommendations for divisional planning, governance meetings, and board-level presentations on strategy and integration performance
15+ years’ progressive experience in strategy, business development, commercial operations, or management consulting, ideally within the energy, technology, or data/information services sectors
Proven, hands-on experience in leading commercial integration or post-merger management workstreams, with a strong understanding of sales, product, and channel integration
Demonstrated ability to analyze markets, business models, and financial performance to identify and drive commercially viable strategic opportunities
Experience articulating complex strategies to senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, related field -OR- equivalent work experience
Experience working in a global or complex matrix organization
Familiarity with leveraging AI/machine learning for commercial insights or process optimization
Prior experience in a direct reporting structure to an SVP or C-level executive
