Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Integrated Planning & Scheduling Manager to support the Precision Engagement Systems Division (PES) in Saint Charles, MO! This is an exciting opportunity to drive program execution from proposal and change management, program plans and strategies, and lead the implementation of best practices for the program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees engaged primarily within the disciplines of Integrated Planning and Scheduling, including Program Planning, Program Scheduling, Production Scheduling, Commitment Scheduling and Baseline/Change Management
  • Manages employees that develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources (i.e.: headcount and budget) for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees and first-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience leading complex projects with large project teams
  • More than 5 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) applying Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirements
  • More than 5 years of experience collaborating and working across teams
  • More than 5 years’ experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in a leadership or management role
  • Experience developing and managing integrated schedules for complex technical projects and/or products
  • Experience managing program schedules, building workflows, resource management plans, program schedules and other program integration activities, product life cycle process development
  • Experience creating and networking complex schedules in Microsoft Project
  • Experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP)
  • Experience with the Boeing Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP)

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $133,450 – $180,550
