Job Description Summary:

Provide service in the following areas: Shuttle Driver, Valet Parking Attendant, and Valet Greeter.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Supervisor Supervises valet team, department operations and production requirements of assigned staff, services and events. Works flexible hours along with the team to assure that all service lines, functions and staff are supervised. Provides input into managing the human resources of Valet Services including but not limited to: interviewing, performance reviews, training, retraining, assuring compliance with established policies and regulatory expectations. Maintains a positive working relationship and communication with all staff.

Valet Attendant Greet the customer; proactively approach the customer to discover what assistance they need. Assist customer in finding their way to their desired location. Assist the customer out of their vehicle is necessary may require lift t Safely park customers vehicle in the appropriate parking location after pre-checking vehicle for damages. Record any pre-existing damages. Safely return vehicles to owners when appropriate. Track all vehicles with valet lot sheet and valet claim tickets, include all information in both documents. Keep entry areas clear of parked vehicles. Keep the valet entry areas clean. Monitor valet areas for smokers, ask all smoking visitors to move to another location off of hospital property. Record and track all financial transactions, including receiving vouchers or payment for valet services as well as refunding customers for PIL payments. Cover as needed in other Parking functions office, shuttle, booth or maintenance Valet Greeter: Greet the customer; proactively approach the customer to discover what assistance they need. Additional Duties Strives to accomplish departmental and hospital goals in all quadrants of the balanced scorecard. Participate in the planning and implementation of the department budget. Continuously strives to operate at maximum efficiency while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)DL - Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles

Additional Job Description:

2 years related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience . Valid state driver’s license. Ability to drive standard transmission vehicle (stick shift). Driving record (BMV) must have 4 points or less. On the job training is provided.
