Our Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) seeks a dynamic and client-facing Program Manager adept at leading a portfolio of work across multiple clients. This role requires a proactive and analytical approach with a strong project management background. The ideal candidate will excel in navigating sophisticated project landscapes while maintaining a strategic vision.

What you’ll do: 

You will lead and mentor a high-performing team to deliver on strategic company objectives across multiple programs and portfolios. Your leadership will drive alignment between projects, ensuring they support broader business priorities and deliver measurable value. You will shape and execute the overall portfolio strategy, conducting regular reviews to provide direction, remove roadblocks, and support team growth. By championing consistent governance, best practices, and operational excellence, you will ensure high-quality delivery across all areas of project and portfolio management. 

Portfolio & Practice Area Management 

  • Consult with EPMO & Practice Area Leaders to design and implement strategies aligned with organizational objectives. 
  • Supervise and direct delivery for a portfolio of programs and projects. 
  • Work with EPMO to develop portfolio strategy, including contract management, forecasting, and billing. 
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, prioritize projects, and allocate resources. 
  • Analyze project data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making. 

Talent Management 

  • Supervise and guide team, providing leadership, mentoring, training, and support. 
  • Provide strategic direction and performance oversight to the team. 
  • Allocate resources efficiently across portfolio, balancing priorities and needs. 
  • Collaborate with HR for talent acquisition and development. 
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels, manage performance issues, and lead recruiting efforts as needed. 
  • Foster client confidence by ensuring strong performance from assigned team members. 
  • Manage a high-performing culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and innovation. 
  • Implement strategies for improving resource planning and forecasting. 

Scope Management 

  • Write Statements of Work (SOWs) for client contracts, ensuring scope is comprehensive.  
  • Supervise scope delivery across portfolio and ensure traceability. 
  • Oversee client engagements supported by dedicated resources, ensuring clarity of scope and responsibilities. 

Communications Management 

  • Identify and engage all impacted internal and client team members, developing strong relationships. 
  • Implement a robust reporting structure to supervise project progress and critical metrics. 

Integration Management 

  • Support teams in program kickoff presentations and client engagements. 
  • Coordinate interdependencies between portfolios and facilitate collaboration across teams. 

Financial Management 

  • Achieve corporate realization and profitability targets. 
  • Handle portfolio financial planning, forecasting, budget reconciliation, and invoicing activities ensuring accuracy. 
  • Partner with Sr. Program Director and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, billing, and contract management across assigned portfolios. 

Schedule Management 

  • Mentor teams on creation and maintenance of project timelines ensuring adherence to standards. 
  • Identify schedule conflicts across projects and support teams in resolving them. 

Quality & Performance Management 

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards in project execution. 
  • Achieve/exceed corporate customer satisfaction goals. 
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance. 
  • Drive continuous improvement and adherence to standard processes. 

Risk/Issue Management 

  • Serve as a point of contact for raised issues or major decisions within the portfolio. 
  • Resolve complex issues within and between projects. 
  • Run Root Cause Analysis sessions and mentor teams in risk mitigation planning. 
  • Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies. 
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust strategies as needed. 

What you’ll need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Operations, or a related field or relevant work experience. 
  • Preferred certifications: Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master - CSM) 
  • 5+ years in project management with a focus on portfolio management. Experience in operations, consulting, technology, development, engineering or related roles is a plus. 
  • Experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation. 
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, systems and processes. 
  • Proficiency in project and program management tools and methodologies. 
  • Strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel.  
  • Jira, monday.com, and Workday experience preferred.
