The Cyber Security Organizational Risk Team Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) Organizational Risk Team within the Enterprise Infrastructure and Security organization. The ORT manager will be primarily responsible for leading the team that conducts investigations and will manage the threat intelligence function for the Security Operations Center. The Manager will also work with other CSOC team leaders, our internal engineering partners, and our external partners, as required, to complete the tasks needed.

A successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Significant experience with and skill and ability to conduct and/or support sensitive investigations involving log/data analysis using a SIEM, EDR and forensic tools by employing extensive investigative/analytic techniques.

  • Experience in the electronic discovery reference model, and full lifecycle of evidence collection and storage

  • Experience with compliant methods for device and data destruction

  • Experience with ephemeral applications, usage of them and the data used and stored by them

  • General familiarity with privacy laws and regulations from a global perspective

  • Knowledge and understanding of standard processes necessary to plan/implement enhanced security monitoring in support of business needs

  • Significant experience with advanced threat Hunting, cyber threat Intelligence, and forensic investigations, among other cyber security streams

  • Strong presentation skills as well as demonstrable experience in coordinating and directing team work

  • Proven analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills

  • Superb communication and technical writing skills

Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations for our investigatory team.

  • Collaborate with other Micron business units and customers to achieve business objectives

  • Provide technical and functional mentorship and leadership to the team members regarding threat intelligence, sensitive investigations, and organizational risk.

  • Act as the escalation point for all sensitive investigations and ensure established protocols and procedures are adhered to.

  • Be up to date on the cyber security threat landscape, understand threat management frameworks, threat mitigation strategies to be able to manage and respond to the endpoint, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure threats

  • Help maintain team documentation, ensuring appropriate level of detail to facilitate potential legal actions

  • Coordinate and oversee training/learning exercises to ensure team proficiency and relevance

  • Participate in projects or initiatives where Security Operations support is needed

  • Maintain administrative functions for the team members globally
