The Department of Cardiology at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time Electrophysiology Specialist.

The Corewell Health Troy Hospital and William Beaumont University Hospital Electrophysiology labs perform the most advanced procedures, including leadless pacemaker implants, His bundle pacing, cryoablation, and complex device extractions in a hybrid OR. Opportunities to participate in left atrial appendage closure procedures are also available.

The Heart Rhythm Center is staffed Monday-Friday from 0700-1930 operating 2 electrophysiology labs.  Physicians are supported by a combination of nurses and RCES certified cardiovascular technicians. 

Available 3D mapping systems include, Abbott, Ensite Velocity and PhillisKodex. Device implants, device extractions and ablations including Atrial Fibrillation Ablations, by Radiofrequency or Cryoablation.  One day per week for follow-ups and consults. Interpretation of Holter/Event monitors.

You will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage the resources and referral base of the larger Beaumont Health system!

Job Summary

The physician is responsible for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the health problems presented by the patients.

Qualifications

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
